The YLM is designed to integrate young NEET individuals into the labour market. It will give insights on how to foster collaboration between public institutions and private entities. It will also include a mentorship program explaining how to ensure personalised guidance and skill enhancement. It will present project design as a methodology in which participants engage in experiential learning to develop projects in line with their career guidance. The YLM will be structured in 3 blocks: Public-Private Collaboration for Work-Based Learning; Mentorship program; Project design and Entrepreneurship methodology.
PDP focusing on entrepreneurship projects for NEETs: The PDP addresses the entrepreneurial needs of NEETs. This programme includes educational modules, practical exercises, and mentorship components giving the essential skills required to conceptualise and plan viable entrepreneurial projects. The programme emphasises fostering problem solving, critical thinking, creativity, and planning, ensuring the NEETs skills development and increased opportunities for sustainable employment or entrepreneurial career. The PDP is divided in 4 modules: Situation analysis; Problem solving; Planning and Leadership; Mentors hints.
The handbook provides NEETs with a thorough understanding on how to deliver effective entrepreneurial pitches. It provides insights into key elements such as compelling narrative, storytelling, structuring presentations, and adapting pitches to diverse audiences. The objective is to train aspiring NEETs entrepreneurs with the necessary skills and confidence to communicate their innovative ideas persuasively to potential investors, partners, and stakeholders.
The skill assessment tool is designed to evaluate a range of soft skills. It’s an intuitive and user-friendly interface, including self-assessment components. The tool provides an understanding of a young NEET current skill set, identifying strengths and areas for improvement. The final objective is to facilitate targeted skill development initiatives and enhance their employability and entrepreneurial potential.
Submission of the social innovation of YouthPioneer project in The Social Innovation Match tool (SIM), a platform where inspirational examples of successful social innovation initiatives can be explored and future partners can be connected.
