The YouthPioneer team from EaSI – European Association for Social Innovation – hosted a dynamic networking event at the FNT Youth Center in Bucharest. The event brought together over 19 participants and aimed to connect young people with potential employers, mentors, and community organizations offering volunteering, training, and career opportunities.
The event featured a session exploring participants’ skills, motivations, and aspirations, followed by a sharing session where organizations shared concrete pathways for involvement. Interactive tools like a “Bingo” networking challenge helped spark conversation.
Participants highlighted the friendly and open atmosphere, the chance to connect directly with young people from placement centers, and the relevance of the project. The next steps include finalizing the selection of young participants for the mentoring and work-based learning stage in Romania. All stakeholders expressed interest in staying involved and continuing to support youth development and integration through YouthPioneer.
